What is the gospel?

The gospel is the good news concerning Jesus Christ and the way of salvation but also includes all the teachings of scripture (Mark 1:15 and Mark 16:15)! The Gospel also is about the bad news that we all deserve to go to Hell because of our sins and the good news that we don't have to go to Hell because Jesus died for our sins but we just have to choose to follow Jesus to have eternal life (John 3:16)!

 

What is the meaning of life?

It’s to worship God…to know God and to make Him known. We exist to having a meaningful relationship with God our creator and to live FOR Him! It’s about doing His will and not our own will (John 7:17 and Matthew 7:21)! We were created for God's glory (Isaiah 43:7)!

 

What must a person do to get to Heaven?

We must repent of our sins and put our faith in Jesus Christ (Mark 1:15). Repentance includes obeying The Ten Commandments (John 14:15) and loving God with all our hearts and souls and loving others as ourselves (Mark 12:30-31)!

 

Is Jesus Christ the ONLY way to Heaven?

The Bible makes it clear that Jesus Christ is the ONLY way by which a person can get to Heaven (John 14:6)! For Jesus is the King over all creation and only Jesus has the authority to forgive sin (Mark 2:7)!

 

Why should we learn the Bible?

Because it’s God’s word. It teaches us everything that He would want us to know about Himself and His ways and what He expects from us (2 Timothy 3:16)! We cannot be ignorant of what the Bible says because our souls depend on it! Also the devil is real and we cannot be ignorant of his schemes/devices (2 Corinthians 2:11)!

 

Why should we trust the Bible?

The main reason why is because of all the prophecies in the Bible (and there are many) have proven to come true. And therefore we can have faith that the end times prophecies will also come to pass! Also because the Bible is God’s word and God does not lie (2 Timothy 3:16 and Numbers 23:19)!

 

Is it true that Jesus was perfect and never sinned?

Yes. Jesus lived a perfect and sinless life (Hebrews 4:14–16 and 2 Corinthians 5:21) because even though He lived as a human, He was still God. And He had to be sinless in order to be the perfect sacrifice for our sins (1 John 4:10 and 1 John 2:2)!

What does it mean that God is Holy?

It means that God can never do anything that is wrong for there is no darkness in Him (1 John 1:5)! It also means that ONLY God is good for no one else is good (Mark 10:18)! God is separate, unique, and morally perfect! That also means that God cannot tolerate any wicked behavior but can only forgive sinners when they repent and put their faith in Him (Matthew 4:17; Acts 2:38)!

 

Why is the world so dark and wicked??

Because mankind loves the darkness (John 3:19). And because mankind has a sinful nature (Romans 3:23 and 1 John 1:8). Also because Satan is the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4) and also it's a world that rejects Jesus Christ (John 15:18-20)!

 

Does the average person go to Heaven?

Sadly the answer is no. The average person rejects the ways of God and therefore the average person must be destroyed (Matthew 7:13-14)!

 

Did God create Hell?

God created Hell but it was never meant for humans but rather for the devil and the fallen angels (Matthew 25:41 and 1 Thessalonians 5:9). But Hell (which is also known as death (or the second death)) is the necessary punishment for unrepentant sinners (Romans 6:23). Hell is God’s wrath against the wicked (Romans 12:19)!

 

Is Satan ruler of Hell?

For the time being Satan kinda rules Hell. But Satan wanders the Earth (Job 1:7) looking for those whom he can devour (1 Peter 5:8). He is a thief and a liar and a murder (John 10:10 and John 8:44). But in the end Satan will be burning in Hell for all eternity and his punishment will be the worst imaginable (Revelation 20:10)!

 

Why must there be devil and demons?

Before he was known as the devil he was an angel who rebelled and God could not tolerate that (Ezekiel 28:16). The devil and about a third of the angels got kicked out of Heaven! But then why are they allowed by God to ruin lives? Ultimately God wants to test our faith and let us determine whose side we shall be on! God wants us all to choose for ourselves. And ultimately the only power the devil has is the power that we give him! As long as we resist the devil (James 4:7) then there is not much of a threat as long as we keep obeying God. But the devil will keep trying to attack us but we must always surrender to God and God will protect us! But even God allows us to go through hard times and difficulty and even persecution! Ultimately, God remains in control, and evil will be defeated (Revelation 20:10) and with all things God will get the glory (Romans 11:36)!

 

Why does God allow great evil to exist?

First of all it’s a matter of giving us free will but in the end we will all be judged (Ecclesiastes 3:17 and Psalm 9:7-8)! There is a battle going on for our souls and we must fight (Ephesians 6:12)! Also in times of great evil and persecution against God’s people that’s when God’s true church shines the brightest amidst all the darkness! It’s during the toughest times our faith is truly tested and God’s true people really start to take the Bible seriously!

 

How intelligent is the devil?

The devil used to be a most high ranking angel in Heaven (Ezekiel 28:12). This means that he knew the ways of God better than any of the other angels. Since the Bible has been written the devil knows the Bible better than any living human on Earth! He successfully got one third of the angels kicked out of Heaven. The Bible also says that the devil has deceived the whole world (Revelation 12:9). The devil is certainly no fool other than being foolish to rebel against God!

 

Can the devil do whatever he pleases?

Even though it seems like the devil gets away with whatever he pleases; the truth is the devil can only do what God allows! Basically God has the devil on a leash! God has His reasons for allowing the devil to do what he does!

 

Are we all God’s children or only Christians?

Even though we are all God’s creatures we are not all God’s children! Those who live in sin are children of the devil (John 3:10). But those who are born again (John 3:7) are children of God. In this world very few people are considered God’s children (Matthew 7:13-14)!

What does it mean to be born again?

When one surrenders their life to Christ and is led by the Holy Spirit that's what it means to be born again. Instead of walking in the flesh the born again Christian makes the choice to walk in the spirit.

 

Who are the ’elect’ of God and what is the difference between the ‘called’ and the ‘chosen’?

God’s ‘elect’ and those ‘chosen’ are the same group of people who have answered God’s calling on their lives and faithfully obeyed and these people have been predestined by God (Ephesians 1:4-5). Those considered ‘called’ are those whom God has called to be His people but due to disobedience they have not been ‘chosen’. Ultimately only the ‘chosen’ can enter Heaven (Matthew 22:14)!

 

Does believing in Jesus and trying to be a good person secure us a place in Heaven?

Sadly the answer is no! It takes more than just believing in Jesus for even the devil and the demons believe (James 2:19). And merely trying to be a good person is not enough! We must faithfully obey Jesus Christ! (Matthew 7:21)

 

Is following your own heart or merely being yourself a good idea?

The Bible tells us that the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9)! We should not follow our hearts. And instead of being ourselves the Bible tells us to deny ourselves (Matthew 16:24) and we are to be who God created us to be!

Why is it important to have faith in God and the Bible?

Because without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6)! And it's crucial to have faith in order to get to Heaven! It takes both faith and repentance to get to Heaven! Also it must be noted that faith without works is dead (James 2:26)!

What are the seven things that God hates the most?

Proverbs 6:16-19 tells us: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.

What is God's grace?

God's grace is a gift of love and approval that is freely given to people, and cannot be earned. It is often described as undeserved or unmerited favor when God decides to bless us instead of curse us. We are told in Ephesians 2:8 that “For by grace are you saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves.”

What does it mean to be saved?

A person who is saved is saved from the penalty of sin! The wages of sin is death but God offers eternal life. The penalty of sin means being eternally separated from God and experiencing His eternal wrath! Thanks to Jesus Christ we can experience salvation through Him and not be condemned. As mentioned before we must have faith in Jesus and repent! Important Bible verses about being saved include: Romans 10:9–10 and Mark 16:16 and Ephesians 2:8–9!

What is the Holy Spirit?

Actually the Holy Spirit is a who and not a what. The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit is a divine person, a being with a mind, emotions, and a will. The Holy Spirit is also God and the third person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit's job is to convict the world of sin (John 16:8)!

What is the Trinity?

The Trinity, or Holy Trinity, is a central belief that describes God as three distinct persons in one Godhead: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. There are several verses in the Bible where we learn about the Trinity.

Is gambling a sin?

Even though gambling isn’t really mentioned in the Bible we can determine that gambling would be a sin because the love of money is the root of all evil (1 Timothy 6:10) and also gambling can be addictive and destructive and for that reason we can determine it’s a sin. Also the Bible tells us to deny ourselves (Matthew 16:24) and that is the last clue that we shouldn’t gamble!

 

What does the Bible say about women pastors and things like homosexuality; and abortion; and drunkenness and divorce?

The Bible condemns such behavior. Women are not to be pastors (1 Corinthians 14:34-35) because that position is reserved for men only. The Bible calls homosexuality an abomination (Leviticus 18:22). Abortion is murder (Exodus 20:13). And the Bible tells us that drunkards do not enter Heaven (1 Corinthians 6:10). Also God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16) because it’s not God’s plan for humanity. Marriage is sacred and needs to be taken seriously! God doesn’t want people to just get married and divorced as they please!

 

Should Christians be watching Hollywood or be listening to secular music?

As a general rule Christians should be avoiding Hollywood and secular music. These forms of entertainment are generally ungodly and should be avoided. The Bible also warns us not to love the things of this world (1 John 2:15 and James 4:4). We are supposed to be set apart from the world and not do as the world does and be wise with our time (Ephesians 5:16)! Also we shouldn’t allow the TV or music or entertainment to become idols in our lives (Exodus 20:3-6 and 1 Corinthians 10:14)!

 

Should Christians be playing video games?

As a general rule Christians should be avoiding video games. There is a time and place for certain games as long as they are appropriate. But we must be wise with our time (Ephesians 5:16). Also most video games are inappropriate and ungodly. And as mentioned before the Bible warns that we should not love the things of this world (1 John 2:15 and James 4:4)! We are supposed to be set apart from the world and not do as the world does! And also video games should never become an idol in our lives (Exodus 20:3-6 and 1 Corinthians 10:14)!

Should Christians be practicing Yoga?

Christians should not do Yoga because it’s not just exercising but is spiritual in nature. Yoga is a part of Hindu spiritualism. Yoga postures have spiritual significance. Also yoga is a form of idol worship and forbidden meditation.

 

Can a person be alive and not have any hope?

As long as a person repents then there is hope (Luke 13:3-5)! Also as long as a person doesn’t take the mark of the beast there CAN be hope (Revelation 14:10–11)!

 

What is the mark of the beast?

The mark of the beast is a mark that the Antichrist will force everyone to take in order to worship him (Revelation 13:16-17). But everyone who takes the mark of the beast will be condemned to hell for eternity (Revelation 14:10–11)!

 

Who is the Antichrist?

The Antichrist will be the world dictator during the end times and will demand that everyone worship him and take the mark of the beast (Revelation chapter 13)! Also note that the Bible also talks about many antichrists (1 John 2:18) but there is one main Antichrist!

 

What happens to those who refuse the mark of the beast?

Those who refuse to take the mark will not be able to buy or sell and will also be put to death (Revelation 13:17 and Revelation 20:4)!

 

Does the Bible give any indication when Jesus will return?

The Bible tells us that once the gospel has been preached to all the nations then the end will come (Matthew 24:14). But before Jesus returns there must be the great falling away and also the Antichrist comes before Jesus returns (2 Thessalonians 2:3)!

 

What is the great falling away?

We are currently experiencing great apostasy in the world. Many have turned AWAY from one TRUE faith (2 Thessalonians 2:3). This is the great falling away that the Bible talks about!

 

What does the Bible say about World War 3?

The Bible doesn't exactly talk about World War 3 but we know from the Bible that there will be wars before Jesus return (Matthew 24:4-31)! There is a final war that the Bible describes in detail that explains the final conflict and this has been interpreted as World War 3! Also Revelation 19:11 tells us that Jesus judges and wages war when He returns!

Was Jesus really born on December 25th?

No... December 25th is not the date Jesus was born. The Bible doesn't specifically give a date but in 2011 there was a book written where they put the clues together to determine that Jesus was actually born on September 11th!

Why is there so many wildfires in recent years that are getting worse and worse?
The reason why there are so many wildfires is because it's a warning from God! Society has sinned so much that we are provoking God's wrath! Also in the day of the Lord God is going to destroy the entire planet by fire (2 Peter 3:10)!

Is Jesus returning soon?

Yes (Revelation 22:20). Very soon. Sooner than many realize. There is almost no time left! The Bible tells us to repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand (Matthew 4:17)!

 

Why is Jesus returning so soon?

Because He has to. The world has become so wicked that if Jesus doesn’t return when He does then no human on Earth will survive (Matthew 24:22)!

 

What should we be doing in these last days?

We ought to be praying and fasting and repenting (Mark 1:15 and 1 Thessalonians 5:17)! Also preaching the truth to as many people as possible (Mark 16:15)!
